67 year old female presented with pancytopenia and blasts seen on smear.

Pancytopenia and blasts are seen on the peripheral blood smear

Aspirate

Aspirate was  hemodilute.  Biopsy touch prep showed numerous blasts. 

Cytogenetic analysis revealed presence of Philadelphia chromosome (p190).

The bone marrow biopsy showed extensive re-population by blasts.

Flow cytometry

Flow cytometric analysis, peripheral blood.  The blasts (red) are positive for CD19, CD34, CD13, CD10, HLA-DR; and are negative for CD117, CD33, CD20, CD45 and surface light chains => B-ALL with CD13 expression.
